They are an ever growing troupe of whimsical characters inspired by the colorful personalities that inhabit urban environments. My view is that urban dwellers are prone to more vivid self-expression and tend to use the human canvas in imaginative ways to create a distinctive beauty that often distinguishes them from their suburban and rural cousins. As I live in San Francisco, I have a neverending source of inspiration and continue to enjoy how this series is evolving.
